This PND is simple launcher that downloads the BitTorrent Sync during the first run, then launches it and provides you via clipboard with local URL of BTSync WebUI. Sync unlimited files between your own devices, or share a folder with friends and family to automatically sync anything. File transfers are encrypted. Your information is never stored on a server in the cloud and your data is protected by private keys. BitTorrent Sync is specifically designed to handle large files, so feel free to sync original, high quality, uncompressed files.

TO UPDATE TO THE LATEST BTSYNC YOU NEED TO MANUALLY DELETE THE btsync BINARY IN /media/YOURCARD/pandora/appdata/btsync FOLDER!!! UPDATING THIS PND ONLY IS NOT ENOUGH ;-)

PND Release notes:
2015-01-18 Sorry for neglecting the updates. Current version, amongst other features, simplifies the GUI URL (localhost:8888) and is finally fitting Pandora's screen (tested with Pale Moon). Don't forget to remove the original binary in appdata folder first (see note above).

2013-07-10 Online binary is updated. To update you need to delete old btsync binary in /media/YOURCARD/pandora/appdata/btsync. Then launch btsync.pnd and it will download the new binary.
New significant feature against previous version is versioning of files. It moves changed files to .SyncTrash folder.

One question cube48 : if you only launch the PND without opening the browser, does the system sync based on the previous settings ? I.e. do you need to open the GUI in browser for the application to work ? I guess not, but I'd like to confirm :)

it seems that it's impossible to delete folders on the Pandora client, too. Syncing works fine but "destroying" the folder with the cross seems to be a problem. Have you experienced that?

Thanks for your feedback. Hmm ... I've found out that it can take up to 3 mins until some residual processes die after you kill them from the Zenity dialogue. These seem to be related to PND mechanics and they contain string "btsync" and my grep detects them. I'll try to amend the script.

Correction: it actually works fine now for pictures. Not sure what I did wrong in the first place. But killing the process still appears to be a problem.
